I’ve done what I needed to with the decorating for now. The space feels settled enough, even if it’s not finished. There are still things I might come back to—soft touches, lighting, maybe a few seasonal changes—but I’m happy to pause here.

Studio Decorating: What’s Done

• Wall colour chosen one wall painted
• Storage layout trialed and adjusted
• Motif trials begun (some favourites noted)
• Light and comfort considered (and partly completed)
• Emotional fit checked and affirmed

What Can Wait

• Soft furnishings (e.g. cushions, curtains)
• Two more walls need painting
• Seasonal touches or mood shifts
• Lighting tweaks or layered ambience
• Final motif placement or framing
• Any finishing details that need more time.

I’m shifting focus to other things for a while. Decorating can wait until the rhythm feels right again.
