I’ve done what I needed to with the decorating for now. The space feels settled enough, even if it’s not finished. There are still things I might come back to—soft touches, lighting, maybe a few seasonal changes—but I’m happy to pause here.
Studio Decorating: What’s Done
- Wall colour chosen one wall painted
- Storage layout trialed and adjusted
- Motif trials begun (some favourites noted)
- Light and comfort considered (and partly completed)
- Emotional fit checked and affirmed
What Can Wait
- Soft furnishings (e.g. cushions, curtains)
- Two more walls need painting
- Seasonal touches or mood shifts
- Lighting tweaks or layered ambience
- Final motif placement or framing
- Any finishing details that need more time.
I’m shifting focus to other things for a while. Decorating can wait until the rhythm feels right again.
