This object is an interesting find after doing research into textiles and resin online.

Materials: Linen and cotton threads, pigment, epoxy.

Agnus Dei

2020

150 x 150 cm. Crochet, lacework and embroidery techniques, carbon fibers, resin cast.

The image shown above is some work I did for a different project but with the same theme about my local area. I found some old images and cut them out and placed them into a silicon mold and poured resin over the image to create these interesting objects.

I enjoy working with resin but its not a sustainable choice of material. If I used it in future projects I think I would prefer to recycle it rather than to buy new.
