Salt Weave Studio was founded by textile designer Rebecca Ough in 2020.

The unique experience of working in both small and large-scale manufacturing, along with creative and technical woven design knowledge, allows for the intersection of the handmade and the industrially made. A passion for the local textile heritage of Bradford and the use of natural materials particularly wool, makes up the foundations of Salt Weave Studio.

Rebecca Ough designs all her fabrics on a handloom before working closely with local spinners, weavers and finishers to produce expertly made cloth of the highest quality. Fabrics are then cut and sewn into a range of home interior products and fashion accessories in her studio in Shipley, Bradford.
