Not far from where I live on Joel Lane, Gee Cross I found a derelict mill, called Unity mill, Woodley. Cotton mills always needed a water source for power and transportation. Around 100 metres away from this mill there is a canal I would imagine for transportation purposes. A short walk along the canal towpath is the entrance to Apethorne Lane in Gee Cross.
Close by there is a railway and canal.
