The image above is a print I have done using black and magenta on a Risograph machine.
What is Risograph?
The process is versatile and used by many different artists and creatives there has been “a resurgence in artist circles, with creatives embracing the unique combination of intense colours, noisy gradients and thick textures.”
It is known that the risograph duplicator is “renowned for delivering some of the best colour and texture you can find in print, and the risograph creative community extends beyond artists, illustrators and graphic designers to independent publishing houses and art institutions.”
Why did you want to try Risograph?
I like the grainy and unusual visual quality of risograph printing. I wanted to experiment with printmaking in general for this project and each individual process alongside their varying degrees of printing quality and process.
